Adam Chamberlain

Director of Studies

“I am an English language teacher with a Level 7 Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (DELTA) and over 20 years of international experience. Since 2005, I have taught in seven countries, working with learners of all ages and levels — from complete beginners to advanced speakers.

I have had the pleasure of working with ESBM for over five years, a company committed to student growth and support.
I specialise in IELTS and Cambridge exam preparation, General and Business English, and building fluency and confidence in communication. At ESBM lessons are tailored to individual goals and designed to be practical, enjoyable, and motivating.”

“I graduated with a strong academic foundation from Edinburgh University and completed a Cambridge accredited CELTA course at Leicester University. I’ve had the incredible experience of teaching English in Spain and Portugal, as well as teaching many different nationalities here in the UK.

For the past few years, I’ve been working at ESBM, where I teach various levels including pre-sessional. The school is a warm, friendly place, and I truly enjoy being part of such a welcoming environment, working alongside some amazing teachers and staff.”

Rachel Ferguene

“I graduated with a BA English Degree at Birkbeck College, University of London. I completed my CELTA at Coventry University in 2020.
I have taught all levels from beginners to advanced, including professional skills lessons, general English and preparation for IELTs. I have taught all levels from beginners to advanced both online and in the classroom for 6 years.
I’ve been working at ESBM since October 2025. I have enjoyed the supportive atmosphere from students, staff and teachers. I have really enjoyed helping the students to achieve the most out of their stay in Leicester. The school really helps them to achieve their goals and provide learning in small groups to progress their English skills.”
